Just adding .net add-in is not enough for automating .net application using QTP

We know that capability of QTP can be enhanced by installing additional add-ins such as java add-in, .net add-in and TE(Terminal Emulator for Mainframe applications) add-in.

But sometimes just adding add-in is not enough.

For example, .net application developed using third-party component will not be recognized by QTP installed with .net add-in.
